Tyson Fury shows off new gold bed with Paris and jokes ‘it’ll get lot of action’

Offbeat news from the world of sport

British boxing world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury showed off his new luxury bedroom, which includes a custom-made gold bed set to ‘get a lot of action’.

The Gypsy King posted the video to social media, which shows a number of new sofas draped in cushions with Fury’s nickname sprawled across them. As the camera panned to the 33-year-old’s new bed, Fury jokes he made it himself – which led to laughter from the fitters working for The Luxury Bed Company, who Fury tags in the video.

A few moments later, Fury playfully moaned at wife Paris and complained she was ruining all his hard work by removing cushions from the king-size bed. The video was one of a number of clips posted to his Instagram, showing his followers the new bed and sofas.

Along with the bed, the Gypsy King purchased a Chesterfield sofa, an armchair and a footstool. They all match the bed, with Fury and Paris opting for a tan, gold and white general vibe.

The delivery men were testing the sofa out as Fury took the video, and they asked the WBC champion if he was happy with his purchase.

The Brit revealed he was before making a light-hearted joke about what he will get up to with the new furniture.

“Big shoutout to The Luxury Bed Company for delivering yet again another show stopping bed and sofa,” Fury said in the video. “Look at that bed – made that myself, very proud of that.

“It's very hard to make me happy but when I look in this room…it makes me very happy. This bed will be seeing a lot of action and so will the sofa.” The cushions read: “Tyson Fury. The Gypsy King.”

Since allegedly retiring after defeating Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium last month, Fury has kept busy.

The Brit is reportedly training twice a day with runs and gym workouts to stay in shape just in case the opportunity arises to fight the winner of the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua later this summer
