Tyson Fury has directed a scathing rant at heavyweight boxing rivals Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte by calling them "cowards" and "bums".

The Gypsy King, 33, took a swipe at AJ, 32, by questioning whether he will step aside to set up a clash against Oleksandr Usyk for all of the heavyweight titles.

Joshua lost his belts to Usyk in September but had a rematch clause in his contract, which reports claim he will ignore after being offered a £15million pay-off.

The Brit has since hit back against claims that he is happy to step out of the way, leaving Fury exasperated at the entire saga.

WBC champion Fury, who is eager to get in the ring again, appears to have now run out of patience and launched a verbal attack on his social media channels.

He said: “Another gym session done. Tuesday morning smashed.

“Tick, tick, effing, tick, tock is the subject of today. Is Dillian Whyte gonna fight me?

“Is Anthony Joshua gonna step aside? Let me know because I am sick of looking at these bums. Sick of listening to their excuses.

“Tick, tick, tock. The time has run out the bottle. You’re all getting a good hiding. Cowards.”

Fellow British boxer Whyte is the mandatory challenger to Fury's belt but the 33-year-old is holding up negotiations by demanding more than 20 per cent of the fight revenue.

Purse bids have been postponed on three occasions, though talks over the bout were said to be slowly progressing.

Fury's camp are growing frustrated while his fight on March 26 is no closer to being arranged, with Joshua's potential decision to step aside from the Usyk bout now adding another layer of complications.

Meanwhile, Joshua told his social media followers on Monday to stop listening to "bull****" rumours.
