Tyson Fury issues KO warning to Dillian Whyte as Gypsy King steps up training

Tyson Fury has issued a knockout warning to Dillian Whyte as the Gypsy King steps up his training ahead of their blockbuster fight.

Fury's WBC heavyweight title clash against Whyte was finally confirmed on Friday evening.

His UK-based promoter Frank Warren succeeded with the highest successful purse bid in boxing history, with his £31million offer comfortably seeing off Matchroom's £24million bid.

And not one to let time go to waste, Fury, who last stepped into the ring against Deontay Wilder in October, has already started preparing for the British heavyweight showdown.

On Friday, the Morecambe bruiser uploaded a video of himself doing a gym session with father John and younger brother Tommy.

While on Saturday morning, Fury posted a clip of him running on the Lancashire Moors and promising to knock Whyte out.

In the footage, Fury says: "Lovely run this morning guys, out here in the Lancashire Moors with the boys. Get up there.

"Dillian Whyte, I'm gonna knock you out, sucker

"You're getting it, you dosser."

It's the second time since the fight was announced that Fury has issued a warning to the Body Snatcher.

"I can't wait to punch Dillian Whyte's face right in mate," he said on Friday.

"I'm going to give him the best hiding he's ever had in his life, boy.

"Dillian Whyte, train hard sucker 'cos you're getting annihilated, bum."

Both fighters stand to earn eye-watering sums from the fight.

Fury will pocket a cool £25million, while Whyte will earn a more modest £6million.

Although there is no date yet confirmed for the bout, it must take place no later than April 29.

The fight could be Fury's first in the UK for almost four years – with the Principality Stadium in Cardiff among the favourites to host the contest.

His homecoming would likely be short-lived, as a unification fight with either Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua would potentially take place in Saudi Arabia.
