Tyson Fury breaks silence on retirement U-turn saying "big stuff is coming up"
Tyson Fury appears to have reneged on his promise to stay retired after admitting that he'd be tempted by a title unification fight against the winner of Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk.
The Gypsy King, who insisted his gloves were hung up for good after seeing off Dillian Whyte back in April, has set hearts racing after telling The Mirror that he could "never say never" about a retirement U-turn – though he suggested it could simply be for an exhibition bout.
"You never say never to getting back into the ring. It’s not like I’m 52. I’m 33 years old, I can come back whenever if I wanted to," Fury said.
"For now, I’m happily contented, and I might do a few exhibitions, Mike Tyson or one of the Klitschkos, someone like that, the showbiz and entertainment stuff. It’s something people are interested these days."
Joshua and Usyk are expected to announce the date for their highly-anticipated rematch in the coming days, and the prospect of the winner facing Fury in a winner-take-all extravaganza after that will only add to the spectacle.
But Fury has been sticking to his guns, frequently name-dropping wife Paris and the promise he claims he made to her to stay retired – but the fact that hasn't forfeited his WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles yet suggests this retirement stuff might not stick.

"I’m hoping to do some exhibitions and things like that, I’ve got some big stuff coming up at the end of the year, so we’re looking forward to that," Fury added.
The 33-year-old is kicking off his 'Official After Party Tour' next week which will see him touring the country to meet thousands of fans in celebration of his victory over Whyte.
"The tour is like a workshop for people who have struggled," said Fury. "We have a lot of things going on, a lot of things in the pipeline with maybe launching mental health apps, but that’s all in the future, in the months and years to come."
