Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua’s fight has been agreed, according to Bob Arum. The 89-year-old has spoken to IFL TV there are no issues to overcome in negotiations. And, now, boxing fans will be in for a treat.
Fury and Joshua, as well as boxing promotor Eddie Hearn, have all talked up a potential fight.
And Arum has confirmed the pair are now signing their contracts for the right, with an official announcement near.
The American claimed: “As far as I’m concerned, all the points have been agreed to.
“That’s what each side has said. Now, we’re just scrambling around to get things signed.
“I can say clearly, based on my view of everything, there are NO more issues.”

The Sun have claimed an announcement is due imminently and it seems fans will get their wish of a blockbuster showdown between the two men.
Fury hasn’t fought since beating Deontay Wilder in February last year.
The ‘Gypsy King’ floored the Bronze Bomber twice before forcing his corner to throw in the towel in the seventh round.
Joshua, meanwhile, fought Kurbat Pulev in December.
And ended up reigning supreme that day, insisting afterwards he was ready to fight Fury after months of speculation.
Meanwhile, speaking exclusively to Express Sport last month, Joshua’s promoter Hearn said: “It doesn’t have to be in June, it can be in July. The fact is, we’ve got to do two this year.
“July is the absolute latest but ultimately, I keep saying that we’re not going to finalise the site until the deal is signed but there are talks going on [regarding location] and it’s going to move quite quickly.
“The plan is that any press tour for this is going to be at the end of March or early April, so in that respect we’ve got six weeks to deliver a signed agreement and a site deal which is fine.
“So at the moment, no panic. Again it’s not ‘it happens in June or it doesn’t happen’ but for me, the ideal date would be June then November or December for the second fight.
“Speaking for AJ, if you’re fighting in June, camp starts at the beginning of April.
“So, I would like him to get away and have a little rest for a couple of weeks but he don’t want to because he’s so focused on a fight and at the moment, he can’t really travel anyway without restrictions.”
Joshua himself said recently: “[The pandemic] is getting close to things being normal.
“We’re working on a date for around June. So if Tyson is serious, which I think he is, he’ll know where to come and find the boss!
“I’m ready. I’m really looking forward to competition – all I want to do is fight, fight, fight!
“Any option. Home turf, Middle East, my back garden, your back garden. I don’t mind where it is.
“I’m just ready to fight. I want that belt. I want to compete with Fury so all options are open to me.”
