Katie Taylor makes her return to the ring tonight as she takes on Argentine Karen Elizabeth Carabajal at Wembley Arena.
The 36-year-old (21-0) will put her full collection of lightweight belts on the line against Carabajal – who is also unbeaten, though facing significantly lesser opposition.
Taylor is back in action following her enthralling split-decision win over Amanda Serrano earlier this year on what was an historic night for the sport, with the pound-for-pound stars becoming the first women to headline Madison Square Garden.
Katie Taylor will make her seventh defence since becoming undisputed lightweight champion
Though not quite Madison Square Garden, the occasion will be by far the biggest of Carabajal’s career, having never fought for a title, or indeed outside of Argentina.
Some nine of Carabajal’s 19 opponents have had losing records, but this time it’s the 32-year-old who is the overwhelming underdog.

What’s been said?
Taylor, who turned pro in 2016 having won Olympic gold four years prior, insists it will be special to return to Wembley Arena, where she made her debut.
‘It’s hard to believe it’s been almost six years since I made my pro debut there so it’s great to go back now and headline,’ she said.
‘It’s been an amazing journey so far but there are still lots of great fights out there for me and I’m excited about what’s still to come.’
Carabajal, meanwhile, assures she’s not just here to take part, but to take the belts back home with her.
‘I was very happy when I received the offer to challenge Katie,’ said Carabajal. ‘The hard work has paid off.
‘I’m not thinking for a second about giving Katie a win. All the belts will come back to Argentina with me!’
