Referee who gave Tyson Fury second chance is estate agent selling luxury homes

Boxing referee Jack Reiss, who famously gave Tyson Fury a second chance in his draw against Deontay Wilder back in 2018, is now an estate agent selling luxury and family homes in the United States.

The retired Los Angeles City Fire Captain has moved into the world of Selling Sunset as a new career venture, flogging a range of properties in Gold Coast California.

Reiss has stepped away from the limelight since his controversial refereeing that has has since called the best decision of his career in the ring, with Fury going on to beat Wilder twice across their trilogy.

Reiss worked for 31 years with the Los Angeles Fire Department, since working in boxing and has also refereed in MMA – and uses the tagline: 'Have a pro in your corner.'

Adding: "I completely understand the importance that a real estate transaction has to my clients. Each transaction is personal to me.

Adding: "I was very pleased with my role in the fight in many different ways. You guys didn't see me, nobody spoke about me, except twice in the fight – the ninth round knockdown and the 12th round knockdown."

Concluding: "Obviously what happened in that 12th round, he got up and responded the way he did which demonstrates that the decision I made was correct. I'm really happy, I think it was the best decision I've ever made in a boxing match."

Fury said of his fall: "Yeah, I was out for a few seconds."

Saying of his desire to return to his feet: "That’s what we are taught as kids, as boxers. When you get put down, you get back up.

"I’ve got this inner ability, sort of. I dream and becomes a reality for some reason, I don’t know why. Sometimes I dream about things and it actually happens, and I prepare for that."
