Mikaela Mayer strips to animal print lingerie and promotes OnlyFans at weigh-in

Mikaela Mayer stripped down to zebra patterned lingerie while promoting her OnlyFans page during an impromptu weigh-in for her fight against Lucy Wildheart.

The former WBO and IBF champion takes Wildheart on the undercard of Joe Joyce’s titanic bout against Zhilei Zhan on Saturday night. She was originally intended to fight Christina Linardatou but the two-time junior welterweight champion had to pull out after the British Boxing Board of Control declined to licence her, due to a permanent lens she has worn her whole career.

While they were not able to do their weigh-in in the usual fashion, it did not stop Mayer from giving her OnlyFans page a little boost. And she did so with some inspiration from the animal kingdom.

Mayer stepped onto the scales in a white bra emblazoned with the OnlyFans logo and a pair of zebra print pants. The American recently gave her reasoning behind her decision to start an OnlyFans page.

Many female fighters such as IBF bantamweight world champion Ebanie Bridges and former UFC star Paige VanZant have bolstered their bank accounts by launching their own page. And Mayer admitted she made the decision after considering the potential sponsorship opportunities on offer.

What is your reaction to Mikaela Mayer's weigh-in? Let us know in the comments section below

"Well, number one, it’s definitely the biggest sponsor I’ve ever had financially,” she said in an exclusive interview with Daily Star Sport. "I’m no dummy, I’m gonna obviously take that type of sponsorship deal because it was a deal, it was a sponsorship.

“I am wearing their logo on my sports bra." She also added, "I also kind of got excited about it because I feel like it’s a chance for me – I’ve always been authentic on social media.

“But over the years with the more spotlight that I get, especially with a fight like Baumgardner where I’m also getting an equal amount of hate, it was kind of exciting to me to maybe start on a platform where people are really really there because they support me, they’re my fans. No one’s gonna go subscribe to my channel for $10 a month to talk s*** or call me a horse face. And if they do at least they’re paying me!

"They're gonna be there because they really like me and support me. It gave me a chance to really be my most authentic self, which I haven’t been able to be in a long time because everyone has something to say on social media about everything, can’t win."
