KSI’s mega body transformation proves he is ready for boxing return in August

KSI has undergone an impressive body transformation as he gears up for a boxing return. While performing on stage he eventually succumbed to fans repeatedly chanting “take it off”, before showing off his abs.

A fan posted a video to TikTok of the 28-year-old star with his shirt off and it certainly got a reaction. User @josh.vice13 captioned the photo: “JJ is ripped!”

“Alright, you get to see it, are you happy?” KSI said, before tossing his shirt into the raucous audience. This is a stark contrast to how he looked just four months ago, when he was filmed in a YouTube video for his popular group The Sidemen.

The mega YouTuber has not appeared in the ring since 2019 when he defeated Logan Paul. After initially facing Logan in an amateur fight, the duo’s professional bout sold out the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California, which the ‘Holiday’ singer won via split decision.

The Watford local has been busy in the last three years, owning a number of businesses including Prime Hydration, XIX Vodka and a restaurant chain called Sides, as well as recording number one hits.

So it was no surprise that boxing took a backseat, but KSI appears ready to step between the ropes once again. He announced he would be competing on August 27, but as of writing, his opponent and the venue have yet to be named. However, JJ has indicated who he would like to tussle with, as last week he vowed to finally “f***Jake Paulup.”

"It’s so funny, so many motherf***ers think ‘he ain’t going to box again, he’ll stick with the music’ and to be honest, I probably could have,” he said on stage at one of his live shows last week. He then told the roaring crowd: "But I was like nah man, I need to f**k Jake Paul up! So, you best believe it’s coming." He has the backing of former European Junior Boxing champion Viddal Riley who believes his former trainee KSI can follow up his victory overLoganby overcoming his younger brother.

Do you think KSI would beat Jake Paul in a boxing match?Let us know in the comments section.

“Of course, he is able to beat him, he is a man just like he is,” Riley said on theJaackMaate Happy Hour podcast.“Jake Paul has shown more skill than JJ (KSI) has shown. That is a fact, you cannot argue with that, he has. But Jake Paul has not fought JJ, and I don’t think he has fought people with the same desire, will power and size JJ has.

“So JJ needs to get in there. People don’t realise that just because you performed well against one man, does not mean you can do it against someone else, because someone else might have you shook. That’s why when everybody says, ‘oh wow look at the way Jake Paul dealt with Tyrone Woodley,’ Tyrone Woodley and JJ are not the same person, they are different. So we need to hope that the fight happens so we can see it and finally have some new questions about it."
