‘You unprofessional swine!’: Jake Paul takes aim at Tommy Fury by claiming ‘my back hurts from carrying the promotion’ with Tyson’s brother not attending tonight’s press conference in Saudi Arabia ahead of the February 26 clash

  • Both have traded numerous barbed insults and taunts in the run-up to the fight

Jake Paul has stoked the flame once again ahead of his highly-anticipated grudge match with Tommy Fury with a new video posted on social media.

In the clip, which Paul posted on his Instagram, he joked that he had back pain from taking on the bulk of the fight promotion with his rival not attending a Saudi Arabia press-conference on Wednesday night.

The upcoming fight – on February 26 – has received huge billing with the two rivals sharing insults and digs at one another for months in the lead up to the event.

They had been set to face off in 2021, before fury pulled out due to a bacterial infection and broken rib, and collapsed once more when re-arranged again, but the bout was officially announced to at last take place back in January.

And with both fighters having already vowed to inflict maximum damage on their opponent, Paul’s latest social media exploits are certain to ensure the anticipation remains high with the fight less than three weeks away.

Paul and Fury are at last set to face off in the ring on February 26 in Saudi Arabia

Paul was filming a promotional clip for the upcoming battle in the ring, but cut himself off in a mock grimace of pain to send a barbed insult at Fury.

‘Make sure you witness the truth on February 26,’ he began, before cutting himself off and clutching his back in fake anguish. ‘Be there or-‘

And when asked if he is alright, Paul continues: ‘My back just hurts so much from carrying the promotion.’

But he then turns to face the camera in earnest, and with a furious look in his eye, asked: ‘Where you at Tommy? We’re out here hustling, selling the fight, you unprofessional swine!’

Fury recently launched an attack on Paul, with the former having moved out of his £4million mansion into a ‘little apartment’ to focus on his preparation for the fight.

He claimed to be ‘solely focused’ on Paul during his intensive training camp, while mocking the American for ‘flying around the globe’ and making ‘little sly jokes and comments on Instagram’.

The 23-year-old recently became a father, after his partner Molly-Mae Hague gave birth to their daughter in late January – which prompted a menacing threat from Paul on Twitter.

And there is more than just an 8-0 undefeated record on the line for Fury, thanks to his heavyweight world champion half-brother Tyson.

Tyson Fury has warned his brother Tommy (right) to not take Paul lightly in the upcoming fight

The elder Fury claimed he had made a deal with his younger brother that a loss to Paul would result in Tommy moving to Saudi Arabia to become Cristiano Ronaldo’s personal trainer.

The Gypsy King has also suggested that his younger relative should stop taking on professional fights after his clash with Paul.

Fury has also laid out plans for his brother next two fights, targeting Logan Paul and KSI once his overcomes Paul, believing that he should continue to target fights with YouTubers, rather than go back down the pro boxing route.

‘When he beats Jake Paul, I’d like to see him fight the brother Logan and then if not Logan maybe a British celebrity like KSI. I was going say the other guy then, but he’s a bit smaller.’ Fury told iFL TV.
