Jake Paul has claimed he would be keen on a boxing match against older brother Logan to determine “who’s better”.
The Paul brothers both made their boxing debuts at the same event back in 2018, facing fellow YouTuber siblings, KSI and Deji Olatunji.
While Jake defeated Deji via fifth-round knockout, Logan drew his bout against KSI, real name Olajide Olatunji.
Logan would face KSI again a year later and was defeated by the British YouTube star via split decision.
Since then, and despite Logan’s loss, the brothers have made further strides into the world of boxing.
Logan recently faced the legendary Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout and stunned fans by surviving a full eight rounds against the former five-weight world champion.
While the Maverick has shown no real desire to embark on a serious boxing career, Jake has already started one and is currently 3-0 as a professional.
He defeated fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib on his debut and knocked out retired basketball player Nate Robinson in his second fight. Most recently, the Problem Child defeated MMA veteran Ben Askren via first-round knockout.
Just a few months ago, to continue his rise in the world of boxing, the social media star signed a lucrative deal with promotional company Showtime Boxing, demonstrating how seriously his career is being taken by boxing executives.
In a recent appearance on brother Logan’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast, Jake discussed a potential showdown with his sibling and explained that while he would be keen for a fight, their parents certainly would not be.
Who do you think would win a bout between Jake and Logan Paul? Let us know in the comments section below.
"You know, people always ask us this and I just think it depends on how the cookie crumbles.
"Our parents don't want us to fight each other. But I think sometimes there is you know that thing in the gym where it's like, 'Who's better?'
"We might have to be the first brother duo that actually fight because I know the Charlos don't do it, the Klitschkos didn't do it."
The Problem Child is set to return to the boxing ring this weekend against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in an eight-round professional boxing match.
The bout will be Paul’s fourth professional fight and Woodley’s debut in the boxing ring. Despite Woodley's inexperience, he is widely expected to be the YouTube star’s toughest opponent to date.
Standout fights on the undercard include Tommy Fury vs Anthony Taylor and Daniel Dubois vs Joe Cusumano.
