Jake Paul only had 1 per cent chance of beating Tommy Fury before cancellation
There was only a 1 per cent chance that Jake Paul would've been able to beat Tommy Fury had their scheduled fight gone ahead, according to Fury's sparring partner Andrey Mangushev.
Paul is set to go one on one with Tyron Woodley on December 18 after the former MMA fighter stepped in to replace Fury, who was forced to pull out of the fight due to injury.
The match-up is a repeat of August's bout between the pair, which saw Paul win via split decision.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer claims Fury backed out because he "got scared", but Mangushev insists there was almost no way his sparring partner would've lost the fight if he was fit.
"From what I’ve seen of Jake Paul, there’s no way this was a 50-50 fight, there’s no way I could have seen Jake Paul winning that thing," Mangushev told Vegas Insider.
"All I can say is Tommy is a really, really good fighter and Jake Paul was not going to win.
"Honestly, from the little amount of Jake Paul I saw, I don't think it would have even been 90-10 in Tommy’s favour, I would say it’s more 99-1 than Tommy would have won this fight.
"I don't believe it would have gone past the fourth round, Tommy would have won by a knockout.

"He most definitely has the power to take Jake out. Tommy does hit hard, he hits like a cruiserweight. I hope this fight eventually happens."
There's no telling whether the fight will still happen, but the encounter garnered more media interest than any of Paul's previous fights, and at the end of the day, money talks in boxing.
The 24-year-old heads into his rematch with Woodley this weekend with a record of four victories from four fights, though Fury represented his first real test against a professional boxer.
