Tyson Fury has proudly shown off his ‘Holy Grail’ of boxing accomplishments by posing for a picture with his impressive world title belt collection.

The 32-year-old took to Instagram on Friday to post a photo of himself at his Morecambe home next to all the major heavyweight titles he has claimed throughout his illustrious 13-year boxing career.

Fury, who has not fought since beating Deontay Wilder almost a year ago, ended 2020 on a high as he was named the co-winner of Ring Magazine’s Fighter of the Year alongside Top Rank stablemate Teofimo Lopez.

It’s the second time Fury has won the accolade after he was named Fighter of the Year following his famous 12-round unanimous decision win over Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.

He is the only British fighter to have won the award twice.

With a huge grin on his face, Fury took to social media to show off all the accolades he has collected in his career.

‘Ops I did it again @ringtv belt 4 times baby. Holy grail of boxing blessed by god,’ he captioned the photo.

Fury won the Ring Magazine belt – which recognises the No 1 fighter in the division – for the second time after stopping Wilder in their rematch back in February last year.

The other two Ring Magazine titles he showed off in his collection were specially made belts presented to him after being named their fighter of the year in 2015 and 2020.

At the top of his belt cabinet sits the WBC ‘Mayan’ belt which he received for beating Otto Wallin on Mexico’s Independence weekend last year. The four belts below are the ones he claimed when he beat Klitschko in Dusseldorf, Germany. It includes his first Ring Magazine belt and the WBA, IBF and WBO titles.

Ring Magazine named Fury and Teofimo Lopez as joint-winners of 2020’s Fighter of the Year

Last September, Fury revealed how important the belts are to him and the significance they have on his life.

He told his followers in a video: ‘So every time I feel a little bit down I carry my belts with me. Two Ring Magazine belts – I’m the third person in history to do that – and there’s the WBC, just to remind myself how far I’ve come and who I am and what I’ve done.

‘I take them in the ring with me, I sit them there and while I’m training I look down at them.’

Fury will have the chance to unify the heavyweight division and win back the three belts he previously held when he finally meets Anthony Joshua later this year.

Fury has promised to ‘smash’ Joshua inside three rounds with the all-British mega-bout close to being agreed.

And Fury revealed on Thursday afternoon that he had just talked tactics with trainer SugarHill Steward on the phone ahead of the potential fight.

‘Tyson Fury, the Gypsy King, the heavyweight champion of the world. Yes!’ he began, in a video on his Twitter page.

‘Just got off the phone from Sugarhill Steward in America – we are going to smash AJ!

‘One round, two rounds, three rounds, done! Can’t wait!’
