Fury claims he’ll ‘get messy’ with England fans in Qatar after Chisora bout

Tyson Fury has claimed he will 'get messy' with English football fans following his fight against Derek Chisora. Fury takes on Chisora for the third time on Saturday night at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Heading into the bout, the Gypsy King is as confident as ever of adding to his unbeaten record. As well as this, Fury has also pledged his backing behind Gareth Southgate's England, who he's also predicting to a secure a win in this weekend's World Cup round of 16 clash against Senegal on Sunday.

And if he and England are to get the job done this weekend, the 34-year-old plans to make his way out to Qatar for the latter stages and party with those out there.

Speaking to The Sun Fury was asked if he was going to get 'messy' with the England supporters, to which he responded: "100 percent." Heading into this winter's tournament, Qatari officials announced an alcohol ban for supporters attending matches across the eight grounds.

The Gypsy King has revealed he has a way round it to ensure his party goes ahead, adding: "I'll have to sneak a few cases in my suitcase… I'm not an alcoholic, I'm just a devil for the drink."

The Englishman went on to add that his holiday to Qatar will not be a family one, and instead will be a 'lads trip', with wife Paris and their six children staying at home. Fury is no stranger to enjoying a trip with England football fans overseas. Back in 2016, the Gypsy King headed out to France for European Championship where he was seen buying 200 supporters Jagerbombs in a Nice bar.

Despite his booze-filled plans in Qatar, Fury is planning to go sober for Christmas. Outlining his festive plans, he revealed: "I’m going to try and stay away from the alcohol and eat sensible and eat clean. It’s only a four week period. If I can get through that then January we will be here and back to work. I intend to just stay on the straight and narrow and spend time with the family.”

Fury's return to the ring in London, comes just seven months after he declared he had retired from the sport. Giving an insight on why he has made a comeback, he commented: "My real reason is I need to keep myself well in my mind.

"When you come across someone in their early or mid-20s who is fighting because they need to get off the streets and it’s do or die, then you have a problem. There’s nothing that I can achieve, I’ve won every belt there is to win. I’ve not got any thoughts. I’ve fought for a lot of things in my life."
