Furious fans insist footage from Jake Paul vs Silva ‘proves’ fight was ‘rigged’
Boxing fans claim they have found proof Jake Paul's bout with Anderson Silva was fixed after footage of Paul's knockdown emerged.
One fan shared footage of the moment Paul landed a decisive right hook – but the Problem Child didn't appear to connect with the Spider in the clip. The fan captioned the video: "Anderson took the bag."
That knockdown proved to be a deciding factor in the bout as Paul remained undefeated after he was announced as the winner via unanimous decision. And the footage has split the boxing fanbase, with some agreeing the bout was a 'work' – wrestling terminology for a fixed fight.

One fan responded: "The world is a stage. Everything is pro wrestling. Everything."
"It's rigged, I will only believe Snake Paul is legit if he beats a pro boxer," a second fumed after seeing the clip. While a third added: "'I don’t watch wrestling because it’s fake' – people who watch a YouTuber box middle-aged men who aren’t boxers."
However, a fourth jumped to the defence of the Spider: "Nah. Not Anderson Silva. He is way too respected. He respects combat sports."

Jake Paul has already for his next opponent lined up, and after the bout, he said: "This is just the start baby.
"I want Nate Diaz who’s a b****. He tried to come into my locker room, tried to cause some s***. And then he always leaves the f***ing arena.
"So Nate Diaz, stop being a b**** and fight me. And Canelo (Alvarez), you too! You too Canelo… Why can’t I beat Canelo? F*** y’all. Anyone, any time, any place!"
