Fans slam BT Sport for beeping during Fury vs Whyte presser as Wembley blamed

BT Sport initially blamed Wembley Stadium for an irritating beeping noise that threatened to ruin Tyson Fury's final press conference with Dillian Whyte before their blockbuster showdown on Saturday evening.

The self-proclaimed Gypsy King finally went face-to-face with the Body Snatcher on Wednesday afternoon, after the challenger had decided to skip the pre-fight media workout which took place the previous day.

And although viewers were excited to see the juggernauts before they battle for the WBC and The Ring heavyweight belts – a constant beeping noise over the YouTube stream made it hard for some to keep listening with the broadcaster then blaming the venue.

One fan wrote: "Is Frank controlling the live stream on his phone."

With a second questioning: "How can they be doing a press event like with such poor sound!"

A third said: "Cant handle the beep nomore….cheerio."

With a fourth joking: "Remember the fight is live on bteeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sports."

With a fifth concluding: "EDDIE HEARN has set off the fire alarm."

In a message that was later retracted, BT Sport's official YouTube account commented on their live stream: "The ongoing sound issues are due to Wembley Stadium."

Those who kept watching would've heard Fury and Whyte being very respectful towards each other, with the challenger saying of his chances: "This fight is one of those fights where you've got to keep an open mind.

"It's about being able to adapt and quickly. Fury says one thing and he does another thing.

"He might decide he wants to fight or box, so I have to keep adapting to whatever he does. I'm not going to envisage this or that."
