The World Boxing Organisation (WBO) is partnering with Jake Paul’s non-profit foundation ‘Boxing Bullies’ to help renovate gyms across the USA and Puerto Rico.
The two organisations have identified several gyms to target – with locations in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Chicago being cited.
The renovations will provide those gyms with new ropes, canvasses, boxing equipment and workout equipment as well as paint, windows and facilities.
The partnership between the WBO and Boxing Bullies – a charity set up by Paul in 2021 to help combat bullying through the sport – will officially kick off on April 22 in Puerto Rico with an amateur boxing event.
The show will feature local boxing organisations and will be attended by Paul and Amanda Serrano, the most decorated boxer in Puerto Rican history.
