I’m not sure I’ll be winning an Oscar any time soon but it was incredible to see the promotional video for next week’s ‘Day of Reckoning’ in Saudi Arabia.

It was – as you would expect – a no-expense-spared stunning production that was fit for a Hollywood blockbuster trailer. If you haven’t seen it then you must. Deontay Wilder’s driving leaves a lot to be desired but what fun it was with the big heavyweight.

It was amazing to see how these huge productions get done. This is all part of the project to make boxing bigger and better. It will draw in even non-boxing fans with the intrigue.

While we were all zombies in an Armageddon-type scene, there’s no doubt that this show next weekend proves the heavyweight division is very much alive. On a serious note, careers are on the line in at least three of the bouts on the absolutely stacked card.

And there are three big names with doubts over them. Wilder is certainly one as he’s just fought once since Tyson Fury beat him for a second time in 2021.

Would you prefer to see Anthony Joshua face Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury? Let us know in the comments section below.

Taking on Joseph Parker is no easy feat and if he’s not at his best then there will be an upset. While Anthony Joshua has had two wins in a row this year, he faces tough southpaw Otto Wallin.

He simply can’t lose or it will be a long road back for him and the Wilder fight will be dead. Then there’s my man Daniel Dubois who has many people questioning him after his controversial defeat by Oleksandr Usyk in August.

He has to silence those doubters by dealing with Jarrell Miller in ruthless fashion and I believe he will.
That will then fire him back into world title contention and there will be a buzz about him again. It’s a huge night for Daniel.

That’s just a flavour of what is to come. It’s all set up to be a great week in the Middle East. But I’ll not be expecting a call from the Academy Awards any time soon.
