Amir Khan has been filmed training viral sensation Abdu Rozik ahead of his upcoming fight against Hasbulla Magomedov.

17-year-old Rozik, who is just 1-metre tall and 2.7 stone, achieved internet fame after posting a series of music videos on YouTube that amassed millions of views.

However, it was his hysterical press conference with fellow social media personality Hasbulla Magomedov that sent the pair into internet stardom, with many fans desperate to watch an MMA fight between the two.

While it seems Hasbulla has been training for some time, Rozik has called in some of combat sports’ biggest stars to help him prepare for the fight.

Most recently, Rozik was filmed working on his boxing combinations with former world champion Amir Khan. Khan, a former Olympic silver medallist, held boxing mitts for the Rozik who fired a series of left and right hands, as well as some vicious uppercuts.

The current WBC International welterweight champion even let Rozik wear his championship belt during a promotional video, in which the diminutive Instagram sensation called out Hasbulla.

Despite both teenagers’ intense training for the clash, the ‘Fight of the Century’ was recently thrown into doubt after it was revealed that Hasbulla was refusing to fight for anything less than $20m (£14.5m), and had previously turned down a whopping $7m (£5m).

In addition, Uliana Podpalnaya, head of Russia’s Dwarf Athletic Association, has claimed the potential fight would be “unethical” and “wrong”.

"It's not even like a show fight – they [Magomedov and Rozik] get paid a lot of money and it's a show to make people laugh.

"There's nothing serious about this, this isn't sport. This is unethical, wrong, from my point of view.

"It seems to be that only on the one hand it can be correct and beautiful – if martial arts among small people are made a Paralympic sport…”

"And from the point of view of the sports career growth of these guys, there are no prospects."
