UFC star Edwards asked "where the f*** is that" when told Usman rematch venue

British UFC star Leon Edwards joked he didn't know 'where the f***' Utah was after his bout with Kamaru Usman was announced.

The pair will clash at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, on 20 August later this year. The bout will be for Usman's UFC Welterweight title, and will main event the card.

But MMAFighting host Ariel Helwani asked what Edwards thought about the bout taking place in Utah, the Brit laughed: "I ain't got a clue where Utah is! I thought 'where the f*** is that! I ain't got a clue where it is, I actually thought 'where the f*** is Utah!"

The mouthwatering clash will see two of the best pound-to-pound fighters on the planet square off.

The bout had been hoped to have been staged earlier this year, but it was forced onto the back burner as the company waited for Usman to recover from hand surgery. Usman could equal Anderson Silva's record for the most wins in a row, 16, if he beats Edwards.

While Edwards is unbeaten in his last 10 – but he hasn't competed since his June 2021 win over Nate Diaz.
