Ronda Rousey could make a dramatic return to the UFC, according to reports.
The former bantamweight world champion was once the highest paid fighter in the division. Her final fight against Amanda Nunes at UFC 207, all the way back in 2016, saw her rake in a jaw dropping $3m.
But in 2016 she walked away from the world of MMA and took a huge leap into WWE, winning three women’s world championships and competing in the first ever all women's main event bout at Wrestlemania.
However, she appears to be on the cusp of leading the world of wrestling, despite entering into a feud with best friend and fellow MMA brawler Shayner Baszler.

Former Invicta FC ace Chelsea Chandler recently claimed Rousey is preparing to swap the squared circle of the WWE for the Octagon of the UFC. “There really is no bantamweight champion, but I’ve been hearing that Ronda is coming back,” Chandler said during the UFC Vegas 77 media day.
“I heard she’s coming back at 45. So, you never know. If I go out there and put on the performance I plan on putting on, I’ll welcome her to the 45 [division].”

If Rousey is to return to the UFC, then you can certainly rely on Chandler to barge herself to the front of the queue of women who want to fight Rousey. “I think it would be a great fight,” she added.
"It has been a long time for her and things change. People get better, and I think people are over her one-trick Pony armbar.

"But, money talks, and she would bring eyes to the sport again, and I feel like her time in WWE is starting to go down. So I’d like to see it.” Rousey is understood to be earning around $1.5m with the WWE with bonuses and merchandise bumping her salary up to approximately $2.1m
This makes her the second highest paid women’s wrestler in the company with former rival Becky Lynch earning a purported $2.5m per year, according to 888 Sport.
