Dana White rages at ‘disgusting’ Conor McGregor ice bath challenge on UFC show
UFC president Dana White has slammed the production team behind the Ultimate Fighter after they filmed an ice bath challenge between Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor.
Chandler and McGregor are coaching opposite each other on the UFC show, which pits fighting prospects against veterans looking to make a professional return to MMA. Appearing in the most recent episode of the Ultimate Fighter, the pair got into an ice bath each as part of a coaches challenge.
Once inside, McGregor and Chandler went back and forth answering trivia questions from Bruce Buffer, whilst also trying to deal with the cold temperatures inside their respective ice baths. During the challenge, the two fighters spent nearly 30 minutes inside the shivering three degree water.
And come the end of the challenge, it was McGregor who prevailed victorious, celebrating with a maniacal laugh after defeating Chandler. However, White, who was present on set, was not happy about the challenge.

"I'm going to tell you this it was a huge clusterf*** by the production team that shot this thing," White said. "Completely f***ing irresponsible. Completely a s*** show and both of them could have been hurt doing this.

However, some UFC fans weren't having White's complaints. Given White was spotted on camera watching the challenge unfold, he could have stepped in at any time to halt proceedings.
One fan on Twitter wrote: "Was he not sitting there watching the entire thing? Why was he not mad then?" Another added: "Thought it was your show? You don’t oversee any of it? Dana losing it."
A third commented: "Seeing Dana complain is confusing to me, surely he knew this was the coaches challenge? Did no one inform him on this?"
And a fourth said: "Wasn’t he right there for the entire challenge???"
