Conor McGregor shows off new look in New York on outing with pregnant fiance
UFC fighter Conor McGregor has been spending more time in New York City recently, with his pregnant fiance and children in the United States alongside him. But he has opted for a surprise change of look after being spotted around town. McGregor has been promoting his brands around the Big Apple and has decided to alter his appearance ahead of what could be a crucial few months of his career.
The 34-year-old is known for his tattoos, tight shirts, and iconic beard, but when seen walking the streets of New York with long-term partner Dee Devlin and his three children his usually distinctive look and style was nowhere to be seen.
He opted for a more dressed down approach, complete with clean shave. McGregor was also sporting a more casual style of plain white t-shirt and dark joggers, topped off with a black cap.
McGregor is due to fight Michael Chandler at the end of this year, with their bout intended to be lined up after their recent series ‘The Ultimate Fighter’. But McGregor has missed the deadline to re-enroll in the USADA drug testing pool, and fighters have to be in for six months before returning to action.

For McGregor that may not be a problem, as the UFC does have the power to issue an exemption. McGregor and Chandler almost fought on a recent episode of ‘TUF’ series, as the Irishman pushed his soon-to-be opponent in an aggressive altercation.
The series sees two UFC fighters assigned a group of professional talents, who compete to earn a contract with the UFC. The fighters are split between Team McGregor or Team Chandler and then compete in the Octagon.
In a recent episode, McGregor was furious as No.1 seed Lee Hammond lost to Kurt Holobaugh after dominating the two rounds, and took his anger out on Chandler as they two squared up in the ring. “Well, hey, let’s just look at it, it went from zero to a hundred very quickly,” Chandler said when reacting to the incident. “To be honest with you, I didn’t expect it.

“Obviously, we’re ready to protect ourselves at all times. The first thing was, holy cow, okay, he just put his hands on me. What’s about to happen? Is he in my space? But obviously, he backed up. I obviously got pushed back, and we both kinds of started walking toward the centre of the cage.
“He starts taking off his coat, and I’m like, okay, what, we’re going to fight right here? Obviously, you never quite know what’s going to happen. We’re on a reality show, but it’s also two dudes who want to fight each other. So I was ready for anything, and obviously, I was ready to fight right there if we had to, but let’s be honest, we’re on a reality show.”
McGregor hasn’t fought since fracturing his tibia against Dustin Poirier in 2021, and some fans feel his career may be over as plans to return keep getting pushed back. McGregor will earn a huge amount of money for any comeback fight and is scheduled to headline UFC’s final pay-per-view card of 2023 on December 16, but another defeat could be damaging to his ego, if not his bank balance.
