Conor McGregor says the beards gone but not the bread in new bare-faced snap

Conor McGregor has boasted the “beard’s gone but not the bread” while sporting a new bare-faced look.

The 34-year-old UFC legend appeared to roll back the years earlier this week as he shaved off his iconic full beard for Halloween. McGregor posted a snap on Instagram of himself with partner Dee Devlin while dressed as a pilot, but fans were more concerned with his lack of facial hair.

And ‘The Notorious’ has now unveiled his look fully with an Insta selfie, with fans going wild for clean-shaven Conor.

McGregor captioned the post: “The beards gone baby, not the bread,” with a laughing face emoji and a heart, playing on his whopping net worth of around £180million.

With the Irishman sporting a beard for the best part of decade with a few exceptions, fans were understandably blown away at the marked difference in his appearance.

One joked: “Man looks about 10 years younger!” while another jibed: “The beard added 60 years lmao bro looks like a different person.”

Others disagreed, saying: “Please put it back on champ,” and joking: “Who the f*** is this guy???” in a nod to his famous dig towards Jeremy Stephens.

McGregor appeared rattled by the trolling in his previous post as he posted a series of photographs to his 46.2 million followers in which he hid most of his face. He captioned it: "F*** all yous talking bad about my beard, ya's'll do nothing.”

In one picture, the Dubliner was pictured flicking up his middle finger in the hallway of a pub, with his unshaven look hidden by a neck scarf. Two more images, again with his features masked, had him raising a pint of Forged Irish Stout.
