Conor McGregor celebrated Independence Day in the US with a mouth-watering six-course meal, less than a week before his highly anticipated rubber match with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
Earlier in the day, the Notorious shared photos from one of his final training sessions before the contest, working out alongside head trainer John Kavanagh.
Despite entering the final stages of his weight-cut down to 155lbs (70kg), later that evening McGregor tucked into prawns, oysters, steak and lobster, and even enjoyed a few glasses of his Proper 12 whiskey as a reward for a good day's training.
Following the meal, McGregor went live on Instagram and left the restaurant where he was mobbed by fans who had reportedly been waiting for hours for a glimpse of the former two-weight UFC champion.
McGregor is set to face long-time rival Poirier at UFC 264, just six months after he was defeated by the Diamond at UFC 257 via second-round knockout.
Poirier’s victory levelled the score between the two men at one apiece, following McGregor’s 2014 victory via first-round knockout.
Both men have become dramatically different fighters since then and while McGregor has become one of the highest-earning athletes on the planet, Poirier has become a fan favourite and one of the UFC’s pound-for-pound best.
A winner of the rubber match is almost guaranteed a title shot in the UFC’s lightweight division.

Brazil’s Charles Oliveira is the current champion, following his victory over Michael Chandler at UFC 262, and while Oliveira is an excellent fighter, both McGregor and Poirier would likely be the betting favourite against the Brazilian.
UFC 264 takes place on July 10 at the T-Mobile Arena in Nevada and is shaping up to be a brilliant night of fights.
Alongside McGregor vs. Poirier III, a welterweight clash between Gilbert Burns and Stephen Wonderboy Thompson is slated to feature in the co-main event slot.
Sean O’Malley and jiu-jitsu star Ryan Hall are also expected to make their highly anticipated returns, facing Kris Moutinho and Ilia Topuria respectively.
Disgraced former NFL player Greg Hardy will make his ninth walk to the UFC octagon against fan favourite Tai Tuivasa in a heavyweight showdown.
