Conor McGregor compared to WWE star Brock Lesnar after revealing huge bulk-up
Conor McGregor has been dubbed a 'lightweight Brock Lesnar' after posting the latest picture of his new bulked up frame.
The Dubliner has been out of UFC action since suffering a broken tibia in his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier last July, with no date or opponent set for his return. But the updates on his physique and training and come thick and fast, with fans noting how the former featherweight and lightweight champion has packed on muscle during his time off.
And his latest Twitter snap has again raised eyebrows, with 'The Notorious' showing off his shoulders and biceps, not to mention his seemingly widening neck. Indeed, @CherryRanger47 asked "What the f*** happened to your neck?" to which McGregor replied, "It got huge."

But one follower then compared him to the WWE giant and former UFC heavyweight champion, who weighs in at around 256 lbs. @methoonc said: "You are like lightweight Brock Lesnar."
It's not clear whether the comment was intended as a compliment, but it was certainly a reference to McGregor's new look. Indeed, there has even been speculation that he may target a return at heavyweight level when he finally gets back in the octagon.
Despite having two fights left on his UFC contract, Floyd Mayweather has also publicly been touting a boxing rematch with the McGregor following their multi-million pound fight back in 2017. The Irishman himself has promised fans a third fight with Nate Diaz, despite the American having been released by Dana White.

Jake Paul has also frequently called out the loudmouth star, admitting recently that a crossover bout was on his 'fantasy' list of fights: "I think the biggest fight there is McGregor," he said. Just because the press conferences would be off the charts. And from a boxing perspective it’s a very high-level bout."
Regardless of who he faces upon his return, McGregor, 34, does seem to have made the most of his time off. This summer, he was seen partying with Kylie Minogue at the Cannes Film Festival.
In the same week, he rocked up at the Monaco Grand Prix with his family in a Lamborghini super yacht. And he's hit the headlines again this week, defending the Ireland women's football team for singing a pro-IRA song after beating Scotland in their World Cup playoff game.
