Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje’s net worths compared ahead of UFC 274 clash
Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje go head-to-head for the lightweight title at UFC 274 on Sunday morning.
Brazilian Oliveira will be hoping to defend his belt for the second time since winning the vacant title in May last year. He will face a hungry competitor in No.1 challenger Gaethje, who is coming off the back of a decision victory over Michael Chandler.
The American is looking to become a champion at the second time of asking while Oliveira has his eyes set on extending his ten-fight winning streak. But they will also be buzzing at the chance to extend their already-huge net worths.
World champion Oliveira has amassed a net worth of approximately $1.3million (£1.05million) over his 14-year professional MMA career, according to Give Me Sport.
Despite holding the belt, however, the submission specialist’s wealth pales in comparison to his rival.

Gaethje, who made his MMA debut in 2011, has accumulated total career earnings of around $2.87million (£2.3million). That puts his overall net worth at around $4million (£3.24million), three times that of Oliveira’s according to Celebrity Net Worth.
Gaethje made a total of $356,000 (£289,000) against Chandler in November but earned a whopping $440,000 (£357,000) in his championship fight defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Along with his fight money, Gaethje has enjoyed a variety of endorsement deals throughout his career which also allows him to edge Oliveira in wealth.
And while the official fight purse has not been announced for UFC 274, expect both fighters to add a hefty sum nearing the $450,000 (£365,000) mark for their highly-anticipated clash.
