Sierra has been making headlines ever since she began her 14 days in hotel lockdown with Tomic — and complained about the conditions of the quarantine program.
She attempted to clarify her comments this week, insisting her complaints were light-hearted jokes, but her public displeasure at being denied access to a hairdresser to wash her own hair has led to an angry backlash from the Australian public that has made sacrifices and endured real hardship since the start of the pandemic.

In a video, Sierra also complained about the food that’d been provided, as well as other hardships, bemoaning the lack of access to a professional hairdresser.
“This is the worst part of quarantine: I don’t wash my own hair. I’ve never washed my own hair. It’s just not something that I do. I normally have hairdressers that do it twice a week for me, so this is the situation that we’re dealing with,” Sierra said.
Sierra faced a backlash on Monday evening, including from Aussie tennis star Nick Kyrgios who tweeted: “I don’t mind Bernie but his Mrs obviously has no perspective, ridiculous scenes.”
Leonardi-McGrath — the partner of Aussie cricket legend Glenn McGrath — found it impossible to hold her tongue after seeing Sierra’s public complaints.
She took to Instagram on Wednesday to rebuke Sierra for her widely-discussed comments.
“Someone is complaining about quarantine because they don’t have access to hairdressers,” Leonardi-McGrath posted.

“And I’m so sorry, I do feel for anyone going through quarantine, it’s very tough. But hair washing is as basic as it gets.
“Like seriously, who can’t wash their own hair? I can’t even deal with you all, too funny… please someone tell me this is a joke or a misquote? Is this fake news?”
Sierra earlier hit back over the “s*** show”, declaring she was misrepresented and detailing her recent charity efforts during COVID.
The saga took a nasty turn when Sierra said she started receiving death threats. “I didn’t realise how many idiots are in the world,” she wrote.
