Zlatan Ibrahimovic flipped a table after making an emotional dressing-room speech in the wake of AC Milan’s Serie A title triumph.

Stefano Pioli’s side defeated Sassuolo 3-0 on the final day to beat fierce intra-city rivals Inter Milan to the league championship by two points.

And Swedish striker Ibrahimovic, 40, led wild celebrations in the aftermath of their victory.

They defeated Sassuolo 3-0 on the final day to beat Inter Milan to the league championship

In the video, released on the club’s official Twitter page to its 8.3million followers, he says: ‘Get everybody in here,’ before joking: ‘Guys, stay calm, I’m not about to say goodbye’ to laughter.

He adds: ‘Guys, from day one when I arrived – then others arrived afterwards – very few believed in us. but we understood we needed to make sacrifices, suffer, believe and work. When this happened, we became a group. 

‘And when you’re a group, you can achieve the things we’ve achieved. Now we’re the champions of Italy. First of all, I want to thank all the players.

‘I’m now talking on behalf of the whole team, we also want to thank (technical director) Paolo (Maldini), (director of football) Ricky (Massara), and (CEO) Ivan (Gazidis). It hasn’t been easy but we’ve had a real group this season.

‘At the beginning of the campaign, no one believed in us, but through these principles, we became stronger. I’m very proud of all of you. Now do me a favour: celebrate like champions because it isn’t Milan that belongs to AC Milan.

‘Italy belongs to AC Milan!’, before flipping the furniture, sparking uproarious celebrations among his team-mates who broke into a chorus of ‘Campiones, campiones, olé, olé, olé!’.
