Wolves are optimistic that super agent Jorge Mendes can broker a deal that would see Juventus star Aaron Ramsey move to Molineux before the transfer window slams shut on Monday night. The Black Country side are on the hunt for a new midfielder, with the future of Ruben Neves up in the air.
Wolves were keen to land Ramsey in the summer – but the Welshman apparently turned down the opportunity to join the club.
He has since reportedly rejected moves to Crystal Palace and Burnley.
Ramsey has fallen well down the pecking order at Juventus and appears to have no future at the club under manager Max Allegri.
And, according to Calciomercato, Mendes could be the man to take care of the transfer.
The Portuguese attempted to persuade Ramsey to join Wolves on loan in August and he clearly fancies another bite of the cherry.

Ramsey has played just five games for Juve this season and hasn’t started since the opening Serie A game of the campaign.
The 31-year-old has suffered from injuries and also faced a spell on the sidelines after contracting COVID-19.
Ramsey will still feel he has plenty to offer and will be confident of breaking straight into the Wolves team if he does decide to return to the Premier League.
The midfielder made 371 appearances for Arsenal during an 11-year spell in north London and lifted the FA Cup trophy on three occasions.

But Wolves could face a battle with Rangers to sign Ramsey as the Scottish giants are also keen to take the player on loan.
And reports are suggesting that the player’s agent has even arrived in Scotland ahead of a proposed move. So Wolves could be set to miss out.
That would be a huge blow to Bruno Lage’s side, who could be set to lose Neves.
Manchester United and Arsenal have both been tipped to sign the midfielder before the deadline – but they have apparently been told they will need to stump up at least £40million.
Neves has made 21 appearances for Wolves this season and continues to be a key figure at Molineux.
Lage has already seen Adama Traore depart the club this month as the powerful winger moved to Barcelona on loan.
And he won’t want Neves to head for the exit as well after admitting last year that he wanted to hold on to all of his players this month.
“January is sometimes a difficult month, so we need to understand the best deals,” Lage said in November.
“The main point for January is that everyone should continue with us. For me, no one goes.”
