Vinicius Jr shares video of five matches he received sickening racist abuse

Vinicius Jr has shared video evidence of the stomach-churning racist abuse he has received in the last two seasons alone while playing for Real Madrid.

The 22-year-old forward has taken to social media to share the true extent of the abuse aimed in his direction by rival supporters after taking aim at a lack of action from La Liga bosses.

A 97-second video upload to his social media channels details five fixtures in which he has been subject to verbal assaults as the football world rallies behind him.

The video opened with footage of Valencia fans chanting 'mono' (monkey) on Sunday (May 21) before a caption added: "But it was not the first time."

Rewinding back to September 19, a video showed Atletico Madrid fans chanting "Vinicius you're a monkey' outside their own stadium before a derby match against Real.

The second clip showed Vinicius walking off the Real Valladolid pitch during their fixture on December 30, with a voice shouting 'you stupid N-word' and another 'f***ing N-word'.

Monkey chants can also be heard before objects were launched at Vinicius Jr while he celebrated a goal as he left the playing surface.

A third clip showed Vinicius Jr during Real Madrid's trip to Mallorca last season, with a fan heard saying in Spanish 'go take some bananas' with monkey chants heard from the stands.

More abhorrent abuse came as he left the pitch against Barcelona on March 23, with chants of 'die Vinicius' as objects were thrown in his direction.

A further clip showed a doll being hung from a bridge while wearing a Vinicius Jr Real Madrid shirt near their training facility in January.

The fifth clip showed Valencia fans chanting 'Vinicius, you are a monkey' as well as monkey chants from both inside and outside the ground.

Despite the Brazilian pointing out the abuse to the referee, they continued before he was sent off for pushing an opponent – with no mention of the abuse in the match report before an addendum.

Vinicius has since received an outpour of public support, with Rio Ferdinand among those to call for action – while La Liga president Javier Tebas accused the player of missing scheduled meetings.

On the post, Vinicius Jr's extended message read: "Every game away from home is an unpleasant surprise. And there were many this season. Death wishes, hanged doll, many criminal screams… All registered.

"But the speech always falls on “isolated cases”, “a fan”. No, these are not isolated cases. They are continuous episodes spread across several cities in Spain (and even in a television program).

"The evidence is there in the video. Now I ask: how many of these racists had names and photos exposed on websites? I answer to make it easier: zero. None to tell a sad story or make those fake public apologies.

"What is missing to criminalise these people? And punish clubs sportingly? Why don't sponsors charge La Liga? Don't televisions bother to broadcast this barbarity every weekend?

"The problem is very serious and communications no longer work. Not blaming me to justify criminal acts either.

"You are not football, you are inhuman."
