Vincent Kompany plans to take charge of Burnley for another season after they romped to the Championship title.
In a blow to Tottenham and their search for a new manager, the Belgian is comfortable at Turf Moor and wants to see the job through in the Premier League.
Kompany has admirers at Spurs and was on a list of potential candidates to permanently replace Antonio Conte, who left last month.
The 37-year-old saw his Burnley side clinch the title at bitter rivals at Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night and could break 100 points for the campaign if they win their remaining two fixtures.
Kompany has overhauled the squad and playing style since being installed as Sean Dyche’s successor last summer.

He quickly became regarded as one of the brightest young coaches in England and was also linked to the vacant role at Chelsea.
Mail Sport understands that Kompany is resistant to taking a big leap to a club with huge expectations after just three years in management.
Recent seasons have seen young coaches, like Graham Potter and Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge, struggle to stamp their mark.
Kompany – who has always refused to discuss clubs interested in his services – wants to bide his time and believes there is work to be done at Burnley.
Several of his best signings last year, including Josh Cullen and Manuel Benson, were taken from Belgium and the manager believes in showing loyalty to them.
The former Manchester City captain will require backing in the transfer market if the Clarets are to progress in the top flight, while on-loan England Under-21 defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis is someone they will hope to re-sign.
