Viktoria Plzen 0-2 Inter Milan: Dzeko and Dumfries score for visitors

Viktoria Plzen 0-2 Inter Milan: Serie A giants secure first victory of European campaign after Edin Dzeko and Denzel Dumfries net for Simone Inzaghi’s men in comfortable win in Czech Republic against 10-man hosts

Inter Milan got their first win of this season’s Champions League with a 2-0 victory away at Viktoria Plzen.

The Serie A giants – who were well beaten by Bayern Munich in their opening Group C encounter – took the lead after Edin Dzeko curled home a fine effort 20 minutes in.

After missing several chances to extend their lead, the Italian side finally did so with Denzel Dumfries, not long after Plzen midfielder Pavel Bucha had seen red for a poor challenge on Nicolo Barella.
