Vardy ‘laughing’ with Haaland as Leicester go 3-0 down leaves fans furious
Jamie Vardy has left Leicester City fans furious after the veteran striker was spotted laughing with Manchester City bagsman Erling Haaland despite the Foxes being 3-0 down inside half an hour.
Not much was expected of Leicester heading to the home of the champions, especially given City’s 3-0 demolition of Bayern Munich in the Champions League midweek.
But the Foxes put up little fight as City cantered to a half time lead as they look to put the pressure on league leaders Arsenal who play on Sunday.

As Leicester kicked off following Haaland’s goal, Vardy was spotted chatting and smirking to City’s hitman despite Leicester’s predicament on the pitch seeing them drift further away from Premier League safety, with the Foxes currently in 19th place – two points inside the relegation zone.
John Stones opened the scoring after five minutes for City, with the inevitable Haaland bagging his first goal of the evening from the spot before a shrewd finish made it 3-0 to City before the half hour mark, ending any chance the Foxes had of picking up an unlikely result.
Leicester’s struggles have seen several key players under performing, with Vardy’s decline this season painfully evident to the Foxes faithful and anyone with half an eye on the 36-year-old lately.
Vardy has netted just once in the league in 29 games, with the striker’s previous lowest goal return in the top flight being five in Leicester’s first season in the Premier League.

The former England international's interaction with Haaland caused anger from Foxes fans on Twitter, who were already left fuming by their team’s early performance.
One fan tweeted: “Vardy laughing with Haaland at 3-0 down when we’re getting relegated. I’d let him off if he scored more than 1 goal all season.”
Whilst another fan tweeted: “Nice to see Vardy finds it funny.”
A third comment said: “Vardy can’t be serious.”
