USA vs. Honduras live score, updates, highlights from CONCACAF Nations League semifinal

The U.S. men’s national team is finally playing in a game that counts. For the first time since November 2019, the USA will play in an official competition. And it’s do-or-die.

The Americans face Honduras in a CONCACAF Nations League semifinal at Denver’s Empower Field, and the winner will advance to face the winner of the Mexico-Costa Rica semifinal in Sunday’s championship match. The loser will take part in the third-place match, also to be played on Sunday.

The USMNT enter the semifinal having completed a week of high-altitude training in the Swiss Alps. While they were there, they dropped a 2-1 result to Switzerland in a tuneup match without stars Christian Pulisic and Zack Steffen, who were busy competing for the UEFA Champions League. Both are back in a full-strength lineup against Honduras.
