USA star got penis out and had a wee in full view while waiting on subs bench

When you've gotta go, you've gotta go – just ask former United States star DaMarcus Beasley.

Beasley made 126 appearances for the US from 2001 to 2017, putting him seventh on their all time appearance list. Yet one of his most famous moments in the Stars and Stripe shirt came when he wasn't even on the field of play.

The former Rangers and Manchester City man was named on the bench for the USA's last-16 clash against neighbours Mexico during the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea.

Although he didn't make it onto he pitch, Beasley attracted attention after getting caught on camera getting caught short. Given he wasn't required by the USA in the game, it wouldn't be unreasonable to think he might have gone back to the dressing room if he required the facilities.

But Beasley, seemingly unaware that the cameras were on him, proceeded to urinate on the sidelines. And what makes the incident even more remarkable, we hear you ask?

Beasley didn't even drop his shorts to have a wee, instead opting to lift up one of the legs of his shorts and let the liquid simply flow out.

The footage of the now 40-year-old relieving himself on the sidelines has since been replayed over and over on clip shows across the world, particularly around World Cup time.

Unfortunately for Beasley, he didn't make any more headlines at the 2002 tournament after the USA were knocked out in the quarter-finals by Germany, with Beasley once again failing to get off the bench.

He also appeared for his country at the 2006, 2010 and 2014 World Cups, scoring 17 in his 124 international appearances. Beasley hung up his boots in 2019 after a five-year stint with Houston Dynamos, while he retired from United States duty in 2017.
