Manchester United fans were left enraged after a video emerged showing Galatasaray supporters appearing in multiple stands of the home end at Old Trafford following their shock 3-2 loss on Tuesday.
The Red Devils continued their chaotic start to the season with a sixth defeat in ten games as Wilfried Zaha, Kerem Azturkoglu and Mauro Icardi all netted to heap misery on Erik ten Hag’s side. Rasmus Hojlund had netted a double for United earlier, but could not inspire his team to victory.
To add insult to injury, United fans noticed Galatasary fans celebrating the result in the home end, with hordes of the travelling supporters dotted around Old Trafford.
A clip shows the camera panning around the stadium, zooming in on sections of the crowd showing Galatasaray support bouncing around in jubilation as they soaked in a famous win.
United fans could not hide their anger as some claimed that away supporters had gained access to seats in the home end after season ticket holders who could not attend the game donated their tickets to the Manchester United Foundation.

One fan called the scenes ‘unacceptable’, writing: ‘The state of Old Trafford at full time, Galatasaray fans in all areas of the ground is unacceptable. We really are at rock bottom as a club.’
Another blamed the Glazers for the incident, posting a clip of the away fans with the words: ‘The Sir Alex stand at Old Trafford is full of Galatasaray fans. Look what these owners have done to our club.’
One supporter questioned whether the ticket he donated to the foundation was then sold to a Galatasaray supporter.
‘Gifted my ticket to the foundation, United sold it on at the ticket office. Guess who was sat in my seat? A Galatasaray fan,’ he said.
Erik ten Hag claimed Manchester United will ‘fight together’ amid their shaky form of late
Mail Sport has reached out to Manchester United for comment.
The scenes continue a season a crisis that has already seen Jadon Sancho banished from training after clashing with Erik ten Hag.
The Dutch coach is facing pressure over his position after some dismal results this season – including a 1-0 home loss to Crystal Palace in their last Premier League game.
But Ten Hag insisted he has support from the club’s hierarchy despite their shaky form, saying: ‘Last season went brilliant, terrific more than we could expect.
‘But also in this project we knew there would be gaps and in this period we are in a very difficult period but we come out together, fight together, stick together and that is me the directors, the team, altogether we will fight.
‘This is not us we know we will do better.’
