UFC featherweight Ilia Topuria was seen punching a fan in the stomach in a bizarre video circulating social media.
Topuria has been on the rise in the UFC since joining in 2020, with his statement win over Bryce Mitchell in December helping to cement his place in the featherweight rankings.
He’s previously shown he’s not afraid to engage in conflict outside the octagon, after footage emerged of an altercation between himself and Paddy Pimblett last year.
And it seems as though the Georgian fighter has continued that streak, after he landed a brutal strike on a fan at a meet-and-greet event.
In a video on TikTok, Topuria was seen at the event in his suit before being approached by a fan with a pair of boxing gloves.

A caption flashed up at the start of the video which read: ‘A fan asks for a punch from Ilia Topuria’, before the UFC star began strapping up his gloves.
There seemed to be no apprehension on Topuria’s part, as he cracked a wry smile whilst preparing himself to land the nasty body-shot.
The supporter then stands and wait for Topuria to land the strike. The Georgian takes two practice swings before throwing a full-power punch into the fan’s stomach.
The man was sent stumbling backwards before having to crouch down and recover his breath following the heavy punch.
Topuria didn’t seem remorseful for his actions however, seeing as the fan requested the punch, it’s somewhat understandable.
The 26-year-old has enjoyed a five-fight win-streak since joining the UFC, with his recent win over American fighter Mitchell being his most-impressive to date.
Topuria and Mitchell faced-off in December, with the American being undefeated at that time. However, the Georgian dealt him his first career loss with a second-round submission.

Mitchell later revealed that he had little choice but to take the fight with Topuria, due to financial issues, despite struggling with illness prior to the bout.
Revealing conversations with the UFC, Mitchell said: “Hey, Mitchell if you want to fight Topuria you have to next month. If not, queue until February. So I said “Let’s go in December.” If I could just “Ok hey I got the flu let’s fight next week” I would but that’s not the case.
‘If I don’t fight now, I’m living off a couple thousand bucks till February and so I took the fight but I thought I was going to go in there and win I didn’t know I was going to lose.’
Mitchell would sustain the first loss of his professional career against Topuria at the T-Mobile arena, succumbing to a second-round arm-triangle choke.
