Two things Solskjaer got right and three he got wrong in Man Utd loss

Manchester United lost more ground at the top of the Premier League after falling to a dramatic 4-2 defeat against Leicester City in a result that piles even more pressure on United's underfire boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Mason Greenwood fired United into a first half lead with a thunderbolt after 19 minutes – although that lead was short-lived as Youri Tielemans bent a spectacular first-time strike into the top left-hand corner to draw the host's level.
Caglar Soyuncu's goal in the 78th minute sparked an instant response as Marcus Rashford fired United level. Jamie Vardy snatched a late, late winner for the Foxes moments later before Patson Daka added a fourth goal for Leicester in the dying seconds of the game.
The late chaos means that United now have just two wins from their last seven games after capitulating against Brendan Rodgers' side.
Here, Daily Star Sport takes a look at the two things Solskjaer got right and three calls he got wrong on a frustrating afternoon at The King Power Stadium…
Ronaldo returns
It wasn't a surprise to see Cristiano Ronaldo restored to the starting XI after Solskjaer came under fire for dropping him to the bench in United's last game against Everton.
The 36-year-old was in red-hot form for Portugal during the international break, netting four goals in their two fixtures.
Ronaldo had a quiet first half, bar one golden chance from close range, but there's no doubt that he has to be in the team if United are to turn their troublesome form around and mount a title challenge.
If that wasn't evident to Solskjaer before the Everton game, then it certainly will be now – even if he did blank against the Foxes.
Sticking with Greenwood
What did you make of Man Utd's performance against Leicester? Comment below.
Competition is fierce for a spot in Solskjaer's front three, but Greenwood is fast becoming United's main man this season, alongside Ronaldo.
The youngster's thunderous long-range strike gave United the lead at Leicester as he rediscovered his fine early season form.
After firing three goals in three games before Ronaldo's return, Greenwood hadn't found the net since the smash-and-grab win against Wolves at the end of August.
But even without goals, he's been one of United's most dangerous players during their tough run over the past few weeks.
And he can now kick on after ending his mini-drought in spectacular fashion against the Foxes.
And three things he got wrong…

It had seemed as Harry Maguire was nailed on to miss the clash against his former team, but Solskjaer sprang a surprise on the Foxes by starting the England defender.
He was tested early on as Leicester made a flying start to the game, and he was caught out horrifically shortly after for Tieleman's equalising goal.
Maguire was caught in possession deep inside his own half from a United free-kick by Kelechi Iheanacho, who then squared for the Belgian midfielder to finish in spectacular fashion.
Was it a cross? Was it a shot? The only thing for certain about the Leicester goal is that Maguire was at fault, as Solskjaer's gamble on the centre half backfired in spectacular fashion.
Solskjaer's selection struggles
Jadon Sancho was given the chance to kickstart his Old Trafford career after being handed a start against Leicester.
The England ace went into the clash with the Foxes without registering a goal or an assist, but he deserved the latter after teeing up Ronaldo after some sterling play after cutting in from the left flank.
But that wretched record has now been extended for another game.
In contrast, Jesse Lingard has managed to nab two Premier League goals despite his limited minutes under Solskjaer.
Despite that, and impressing for England, Lingard is still awaiting his first league start this season – and he should be getting his chance ahead of Sancho as the £73million man continues to adapt to the Premier League.
Matic not the answer
With Fred unavailable due to Brazil's late clash with Uruguay, Nemanja Matic was given the nod to partner Paul Pogba in midfield for United.
But the former Chelsea man failed to make the most of his opportunity to impress with a sluggish first half display.
Solskjaer has struggled to strike the right notes with his midfield pairings so far this season, with the duo of Fred and Scott McTominay often being slated by fans.
But on this showing, Matic and Pogba aren't much better – and they're definitely not the partnership that's going to solve United's midfield woes.
