Two clubs Alexis Sanchez could join for cheap with Inter Milan ‘ready to sell’

Alexis Sanchez is attracting attention from various clubs with Inter Milan desperate to get rid of the forward in order to cut down their crippling wage bill.

The 32-year-old currently earns around £115,000 a week, making him one of the club’s highest earners despite his performance levels not matching his whopping wages.

Sanchez has two years remaining on his contract but reports suggest the Nerazzurri will listen to offers for him in the January transfer window.

And according to InterLive, the side are willing to let the player leave on a huge bargain as they look to cut their losses.

The ex-Arsenal winger joined Inter on a permanent deal in 2020 after struggling to find form at Manchester United.

He showed glimpses of his old self during the 2020/21 campaign, scoring seven goals in 30 appearances as he helped Antonio Conte’s side win their first Scudetto in a decade.

But the Chilean’s injury record has prompted Inter’s decision to sell him, having missed 26 matches in two seasons and spent most of the summer injured.

Sanchez himself is open to starting fresh elsewhere and is reportedly even willing to take a pay-cut.

Among his possible next destination is Sevilla and cross-town rivals Real Betis, where he could be reunited with former Arsenal teammate Hector Bellerin.

Sevilla’s interest in the two-time Copa America winner was reported by the Sun as early as June.

Spanish media had claimed the La Liga side wanted to land Sanchez for a cut-price as Inter looked to ease their salary budget by 20-per-cent.

And even with the departure of stars Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi, it appears Inter are still looking to ease their financial pressure.
