Thomas Tuchel’s tenure at Bayern Munich has taken another turn as the manager has now been spotted berating his squad in a training session. The ex-Chelsea boss was furious with how a training match was panning out, snapping a slalom pole in temper.
Tuchel took over at the Allianz Arena in March following the shock sacking of Julian Nagelsmann, though he has struggled back in the Bundesliga since his arrival.
Bayern have won just once since Tuchel entered the dugout, being knocked out of the Champions League and the DFB-Pokal in their defeats. The German giants have also handed rivals Borussia Dortmund the advantage in the title race as tempers begin to flare at the club.
A 3-1 loss at the hands of Mainz saw Dortmund move to the top of the table by a solitary point, and Tuchel has insisted that he still believes Bayern can win the title. However, frustrations are growing within the camp and Tuchel is desperate to see improvement both on the pitch and in training.

According to BILD, the former Chelsea manager became enraged towards the conclusion of a recent training session when players were losing concentration in a small field match. Tuchel snapped a pole in frustration after having to continuously stop play to highlight why play patterns were not working, with players such as Thomas Muller and Josip Stanisic also growing frustrated.
Daley Blind, who is expected to leave Bayern at the end of the season, is said to have been on the end of a telling-off from assistant coach Zsolt Low as well, with a victory on the pitch the only true way to calm tempers at the club.
Chief executive Oliver Kahn was on the sidelines watching the drama unfold, heading into his office after watching Tuchel snap the pole over his knee twice. Though directors at the club may be somewhat pleased by the optimism that the manager has shown when fronted by the media, recently saying: “We’re very honest with each other. We’re the last ones to sweep it under the carpet.
“Everyone knows my opinion about the performances, but one of the nice things about sport is that you get an opportunity to make things good again the next time you play.
“We gave up five points in our past two games, twice after leading. Right now we’re not trusting ourselves and each other as much as we could be, but we’re aware of that and we’re working on it with openness and quality. We’re going to do everything we can to show a reaction. It’s not too late.”
