Truth behind record of Haaland’s cousin who has ‘scored 64 goals in 37 games’
Erling Haaland's younger cousin has been the talk of the town recently after word of his stunning haul of 64 goals in 37 games hit the headlines.
Erling's become of one of football's hottest stars over the past few years as he's terrorised defences across Europe. And it's been business as usual for the 22-year-old who's took the Premier League by storm since joining Manchester City this season.
The Norwegian's already bagged 15 goals in just nine Premier League games, including three consecutive hat-tricks, which is a new record in the division. And his cascade of goals upon arriving at the Etihad has brought his overall tally to a stunning 155 strikes in 196 matches.

But while he's been wreaking havoc across Europe, Erling's little cousin, Albert Braut Haaland, has also been making waves in Norway. The 18-year-old's incredible return of 64 goals in 37 games led experts to predict he'll soon running the game with Erling.
However, it's been revealed that Albert scored the incredible amount at youth level with Bryne after joining them in 2017. But he wasn't able to replicate the same form at Molde's academy where he moved to in 2020, and scored just twice in 13 appearances.
Despite his paltry return, Molde awarded him a professional contract in 2021, but he failed to make a single appearance – and was shipped back to Bryne on loan this season. But Albert's found his scoring boots upon his return to Bryne – bagging seven goals in eight games in the Norwegian fifth tier division.
Will Erling Haaland strike again to help Man City beat Liverpool on Sunday? Let us know in the comments below
And Erling fared much better than his relative during his stint at Molde where he hit the net 14 times in 39 appearances. So even though it's clear that Albert has a bright future, it's likely to be some years before he can rival his cousin at the top of the game.
Erling will get the chance to show off his superior talent once again on Sunday when City take on Liverpool. And he's been pitted against Reds striker Mo Salah in a scoring battle which has been compared to boxing classic, the 'Rumble in the Jungle.'
