This summer’s transfer window looks set to be packed full of bidding wars, with numerous clubs interested in the same players and looking to acquire stars in similar positions. The England international has enjoyed a stellar campaign and without his unbelievable performances, Everton may well already be relegated. His quality displays this season matched with his consistency on the international stage has caught the eye of several clubs, undeterred by the new contract that he signed in February.
Spurs are long-term admirers of the 29-year-old, whilst reports speculated that Chelsea had included the shot-stopper on their list of targets to succeed Kepa Arrizabalaga. United have now reportedly joined the race to secure Pickford’s signature in what could be a busy summer at Goodison Park given their on-pitch struggles.

Arsenal ‘interested’ in Joao Cancelo
Arsenal are one of three side’s interested in signing Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo this summer, according to 90min.
The Portugal international shockingly fell out of favour under Pep Guardiola earlier this season and was allowed to join Bayern Munich on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
The Bundesliga side would like to retain the services of the fullback, though Arsenal and Barcelona are said to be lurking.
Mikel Arteta worked with Cancelo briefly at City and believes that the 28-year-old would slot into his system seamlessly at the Emirates Stadium, whilst also providing depth across the backline given his versatility.
Man Utd join race for Jordan Pickford
Manchester United are assessing their options for if David De Gea leaves the club this summer following a disappointing run of form.
The Spaniard is in talks to reduce his wages at Old Trafford and contract talks are becoming a pressing issue given that La Liga sides are lurking.
Erik ten Hag has therefore reportedly taken the decision to draw up a shortlist of candidates to succeed De Gea if he departs, with the Daily Star claiming that Jordan Pickford is the latest name to be added.
The England international has been Everton’s most important player this season and if they are able to survive the relegation battle, the 29-year-old’s role in that success would be significant.
Tottenham and Chelsea have both been linked with Pickford previously and his impressive campaign has put him on the radar of other top clubs too.
