Tottenham vs Dinamo Zagreb LIVE: Latest score, goals and updates from Europa League fixture tonight
Tottenham Hotspur are hosting Dinamo Zagreb tonight as Jose Mourinho’s side look to take another step toward European glory. Inconsistency has blighted Spurs’ campaign, both domestically and in the group stage of their Europa League campaign, but more recently they have found a positive groove with key attackers finding form. Gareth Bale, Dele Alli and Harry Kane have all been impressive at times recently, giving the boss options to rotate his team.
Dinamo have yet to lose a game in the Europa League this season and finished top of the group ahead of Wolfsberger – who Spurs knocked out in the last round. This last-16 clash will see Tottenham start as favourites, but they know they’ll have to be near their best to continue their progression through this competition, with the ultimate aim of winning the trophy and securing a spot in next season’s Champions League.

32’ – Spurs 1-0 Dinamo
Petkovic curls one on target from outside the box, but it’s never troubling Lloris.
28’ – Spurs 1-0 Dinamo
Dinamo’s defensive record has been very good in Europe this season, with just one conceded in the group stage and two in the last round. Early breakthrough for Spurs could prove pivotal.
GOAL! 24’ – Spurs 1-0 Dinamo
And there’s the opener! Kane’s initial pass sets Spurs upfield, Lamela drives forward to create a shooting chance, he hits the post…and Kane has followed play up to tap in the rebound. 25 for the season in all competitions for him.
22’ – Spurs 0-0 Dinamo
It’s a very free-flowing, end-to-end game so far. Dinamo very impressive in their midfield build-up play, while Spurs are effective in going back to front at speed.
18’ – Spurs 0-0 Dinamo
Unorthodox. Aurier sends over a great low cross and two or three players come sliding into the six-yard box…goalkeeper Livakovic simply volleys it clear! No bending down and catching for him.
14’ – Spurs 0-0 Dinamo
Mourinho still barking away in the technical area, encouraging his players to play more quickly. Ndombele attempts a couple of times to surge through gaps in midfield but Dinamo close him out by sheer numbers.
10’ – Spurs 0-0 Dinamo
Much better from Spurs the past few minutes. Kane is getting involved in deep areas and Lamela is finding good positions too, but the final ball hasn’t been quite right yet.
6’ – Spurs 0-0 Dinamo
Son clips a cross toward Dele, but it drifts away for a goal kick. No real spark from Spurs just yet and Dinamo are certainly the more lively team in the opening stages.
2’ – Spurs 0-0 Dinamo
An early opening or two for the away side, in a sloppy start for Spurs. No real problems for Hugo Lloris but Jose Mourinho is already fuming on the touchline.
KICK OFF!
We are underway in north London.
TEN MINS TO KO
Well, late drama in the Man United match saw Milan equalise there – and Rangers also drew with Slavia Prague, so no wins for British sides yet tonight.
Can Spurs change that?
GOAL THREAT
Not that it will worry Spurs too much given Son and Kane are starting, but Carlos Vinicius (six), Lucas Moura (four) and Gareth Bale (three) are their highest scorers in the Europa League this season.
Kane has actually only played 109 minutes in this competition so far.
DINAMO LINE-UP
Winger Mislav Orsic and midfielder Lovro Majer are perhaps the pair in particular to watch for Dinamo.
DIN XI: Livakovic, Ristovski, Lauritsen, Théophile-Catherine, Leovac, Majer, Jakic, Ademi, Ivanusec, Petkovic, Orsic.
Gareth Bale reveals Son Heung-min’s role in ‘Welsh Mafia’
The Wales trio of Bale, Ben Davies and Joe Rodon have jokingly dubbed themselves a ‘mafia’ group
TOTTENHAM LINE-UP
No half-measures for Mourinho tonight. His big-name attackers start and Aurier is brought back in after injury at right-back.
TOT XI: Lloris; Aurier, Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Sissoko, Ndombele; Dele, Lamela, Son; Kane

RECENT FORM
Spurs have rediscovered winning ways of late, taking four successive victories in all competitions.
Wolfsberger, Burnley, Fulham and Palace might not be the strongest run of opponents, but consistency and confidence appear to be just as important factors this season as tactical cohesion and technical quality are in ‘normal’ campaigns, so perhaps Jose’s side are clicking at the right time.
