Tottenham have three replacements for Hugo Lloris in mind ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports. The France international has been linked with a shock move to Manchester United. And Spurs, it seems, are ready to press the upgrade button at the end of the campaign.
Tottenham could move Lloris on this summer.
The France international has been at the club ever since arriving from Lyon back in the summer transfer window of 2012, helping the club establish themselves as a force in the years since.
However, Lloris has been inconsistent this season – and Tottenham could now sign a replacement.
The Sun say Spurs are eyeing Dean Henderson, Nick Pope and Sam Johnstone as they start to plan for life without their captain.
Henderson has recently started more games at Manchester United but, with David De Gea now back from Spain, may have to settle for a place on the bench instead.
Pope and Johnstone, however, have impressed for Burnley and West Brom despite their lowly positions in the Premier League table.

United have been linked with Lloris but the report suggests he’d prefer to move back to France instead.
Henderson has been on Tottenham’s radar ‘for a while’ and he wants guaranteed first-team football from any next club.
It’s even claimed the north London giants were previously confident of signing the United star before his recent run of games in De Gea’s absence.
And who Tottenham end up going for remains to be seen.
Pope and Johnstone are both viewed as cheaper alternatives to Henderson, who is valued at £40million by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
And Pope is said to be keen to play at a higher level, having flourished for Burnley in the years since Tom Heaton’s departure.

Former Arsenal star Kevin Campbell recently endorsed a move for Johnstone, meanwhile, insisting he’d represent an upgrade on Lloris at the current moment in time.
Speaking to Football Insider, he said: “Sam is a top-quality goalkeeper and a lovely lad, by the way.
“I’ve met him and he is a really nice lad. In a season like this, you see the pedigree of the goalkeeper. The keeper has to be good just to keep them in certain games.
“He has done his personal stock no harm this year. Other clubs are looking and thinking, ‘If he was in our team he would be great’.
“I am not surprised that Spurs are looking at him. He’s been West Brom’s best player this season, he’s been amazing.”
Lloris recently hit out at Tottenham players in the wake of their Europa League exit to Dinamo Zagreb.
He said: “I think we are all more than disappointed.
“It is just a disgrace. I just hope everyone in the changing room feels responsible for this situation because it’s a disgrace.
“It’s just an accumulation. We are a club that’s full of ambition but the team at the moment I just think is a reflection of what’s going on in our club.
“We have a lack of basics, lack of fundamentals. Overall our performance is in relation to that. I think mentally we should be stronger, we should be more competitive.
“The way we play is just not enough. Not enough. One thing is to come in front of the camera and say I’m ambitious, the other is to show every day – in training sessions, it’s to show every time on the pitch – you cannot let it down if you play or don’t play.
“To behave as a team is the most difficult thing in football. Whatever is the decision of the manager you have to follow the way of the team.
“If you follow the team only when you’re in the starting XI that causes a big problem for the team because you’re going to pay, in the one moment and you’re going to pay in your season.
“Today I think is the consequence of that. We had a great moment in the past because we could trust the togetherness that was in the team. Today, I don’t know, I’m not sure about that.
“We all belong to the team. Football is not about individual players. It is not because two or three players are going to step up.
“It is not enough. We need more than that. That is something we must have. On the bench there is an influence you can have, to push the others.
“In training sessions to same. Everyone has to be ready to push and make sure they are ready to help the team when the moment comes.
“It is not only to stay on the side and complain because we have to respect the badge. It’s the most important thing, over all the players in the place. We have to respect the badge.”
