Tottenham will make their £50m move for Nottingham Forest winger Brennan Johnson this week.
Mail Sport revealed last week that the bid, which will include players being offered to Forest, was imminent and talks are ongoing with a view to reaching agreement before the deadline.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have been heavily linked with a move for the Wales international.
With the transfer window closing on Friday, they are set to make their move for the Nottingham Forest forward.
Furthermore, Tottenham remain in talks for Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo but he also has an offer from Monaco.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have been heavily linked with several players ahead of the deadline
Micky van de Ven has already arrived from Wolfsburg this summer and slotted alongside Cristian Romero at the heart of defence.
Eric Dier’s future remains in doubt, with it unclear as to whether he will remain at Spurs by the end of the transfer window.
Postecoglou’s men have had a fine start to the season with two wins and a draw and will be looking to build on their good form.
The addition of Johnson and possibly Adarabioyo could see them solidify their squad for the season ahead.
