Harry Kane is ready to return to Tottenham’s training base this week to hold showdown talks with chairman Daniel Levy over his desired move to Manchester City, according to reports.
The striker had been granted an extended summer break following his exploits with England at Euro 2020 but was expected to return to Spurs’ Enfield training centre on Monday.
Kane was meant to undertake regular testing on Monday before joining some fitness sessions on Tuesday.
However, he has not been seen at the club’s training base and has reportedly not communicated his reason.
England’s captain wants to leave Spurs this summer and believes he has a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with Levy, who Kane thinks should facilitate a £150million move to Man City.

The 28-year-old is expecting a potentially fiery discussion with Levy at Tottenham’s training ground and will demand that his wish to leave is granted, according to the Daily Star.
Kane is midway through a six-year deal but is widely reported to have believed that Levy would allow him leave this summer after rejecting advances from Man City last summer.
Talks between Kane and Levy are expected to take place this week, meaning that there is a chance that last season’s Premier League top scorer will be seen at training soon.
Levy is believed to be firm in his stance that Kane will not be sold, especially to a direct Premier League rival.
The Evening Standard reported on Monday that Spurs will dish out a heavy fine to their prized asset having received no reason for his absence.

He has earmarked Kane as a potential target but it has been widely reported that City are only prepared to pay £100m with a couple of players in exchange.
City are also interested in signing Grealish from Aston Villa but he too has only just returned from his summer break.
The Villa captain did turn up to his club’s training base but the session was watched by members of the public.
A conversation between Grealish and Villa sporting director Johan Lange was filmed, while another video circulated on social media showed supporters telling Grealish not to join the top-flight champions.
Deals for both players would likely exceed £250m and it is unclear whether City are prepared to pay such a figure.
Kane’s situation is given extra spice by the fact that Tottenham clash with City in their opening Premier League game on August 15.
