Tottenham could sack Jose Mourinho. And reports claim Brendan Rodgers has been asked by a third party about potentially leaving Leicester for north London. Daniel Levy is an admirer of the Northern Irishman, who has steered his side to third in the Premier League table this season.
Tottenham went into the season full of optimism.
After a shrewd summer transfer window that saw them land the likes of Gareth Bale, Sergio Reguilon, Carlos Vinicius and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, they started the campaign in blistering form.
However, Tottenham have won just four matches since the turn of the year – with Mourinho coming under mounting pressure as a result.
With the 58-year-old struggling, talk of Leicester boss Rodgers potentially taking over in the capital has started to gather momentum.
And the Daily Record say a third party has asked Rodgers whether he’d be interested in taking over at Tottenham when the season comes to an end in May.

It is unknown, however, what his current stance on the job is.
A second contender to take over is RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann, who has guided his side to second in the Bundesliga table – playing some riveting football along the way.
He has reportedly been monitored by the club ever since he was at Hoffenheim, and was previously of interest when Mauricio Pochettino was sacked.

And whether Mourinho can battle on and keep his job remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle has defended Mourinho and thinks any potential sacking would be ‘ridiculous’ despite their recent issues.
“No I don’t, not at the moment,” he said.
“He has been brought in to bring silverware, he is in a cup final.
“How can you sack somebody who has got a cup final in April? It is ridiculous. That is the reason why he has been brought in.”
Mourinho lifted some of the pressure on his shoulders on Wednesday night.
Tottenham booked their place in the Europa League round of 16 with an emphatic 4-0 win over Wolfsberger on home soil.
Dele Alli struck in the 10th minute of the contest, with Carlos Vinicius bagging a brace and Gareth Bale on target.
And Mourinho praised Alli for his fantastic contribution, with the England international spending the majority of the season stuck on the bench.
“The goal I don’t need to speak, because everyone watched it and I believe that all around the world on all these sports TV, people are going to watch it, no need to talk about it,” Mourinho said.
“But for me the globality of the performance is what matters. He played very well in every aspect of the game, he played very well.
“Of course he’s not fresh, of course you can feel that his performance like in the first leg from minute 55-60 is going to go down, which is normal due to the circumstances – injured, not training for a long time.
“But in this moment when we are going to play every three days, 10 matches in March, to have Dele back at this level is amazing.
“But I wouldn’t say Dele only. (Harry) Winks, (Moussa) Sissoko, just to give two more examples, to have them back to this level, we need more than ever.”
Tottenham are next in action against Burnley on Sunday.
And they’ll be hoping for a repeat of what happened at Turf Moor earlier in the season, with Son Heung-Min scoring in a 1-0 win.
