Tottenham have the last laugh after Premier League fans joke about Fulham’s note
Premier League supporters all had the same idea when guessing what was on the mystery Fulham note that was read and discarded by Tom Cairney as they trailed against Tottenham.
With Sky Sports zooming in on the note being looked over and then left on the Craven Cottage turf, one fan quickly tweeted that it said: "How the hell can you lose to this Spurs team?"
Others went with the exact quote that was used by former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson before taking on the North London side, of: "Lad, it’s Tottenham."

Cairney looked intently at the note before it was left on the pitch, but the instructions didn't go to plan despite the joy they brought viewers.
With several others posting the same, it was Antonio Conte's side that had the last laugh as Harry Kane's goal separated the sides at full-time.
With Spurs moving to within three points of United in the table, Fulham remain in seventh following what has been a fine start to the season under Marco Silva.

Fans also took to social media to question why Son Heung-Min escaped a red for a studs-up challenge on Kenny Tete, with Michael McIntyre amused by his blocked view in the crowd.
Speaking of the important victory for Tottenham, their seventh in a row at Craven Cottage, Gary Neville gave them praised on Sky Sports.
He said: "It’s been a difficult week for Spurs. You are never going to start with a blistering performance but they got back on track tonight.
"It was a massive win. This could be a really good two months for Spurs – it’s good to see Conte showing some passion there."
Up next for Tottenham is an FA Cup trip to take on Preston, with Fulham hosting Sunderland before their return to Premier League action.
