Tottenham fans in disbelief at ‘p*****’ PSG who approach them for January move

Tottenham fans are still in disbelief after their sensational comeback in the dying moments of the game against Leicester on Wednesday night, but things may have got even better for the Spurs faithful.

Antonio Conte's side trailed 2-1 to Leicester with less than a minute to go of injury time at the King Power Stadium, but Steven Bergwijn managed to score twice to snatch an unlikely victory.

One player that wasn't part of the match day squad against Leicester was Tanguy Ndombele, who has been removed from the action ever since he threw a tantrum against Morecambe in the FA Cup.

But it appears that Paris Saint Germain have made an unlikely approach for the Frenchman, as Tottenham fans have been left in disbelief for the second time in 24 hours.

It's clear that Tottenham want to part ways with Ndombele, and the Frenchman clearly isn't interested in being at the club, but an exit is complicated as not many sides are willing to offer the high wages that Spurs offered their club record signing.

However, PSG have approached Tottenham about signing Ndombele on loan until the end of the season, according to The Athletic, in a dramatic turn of events. Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to bring the Frenchman to PSG and sees him as an ideal fit, and the manager still reportedly admires the star, as it was him that signed him back in 2019.

Pochettino wants more quality in his PSG midfield, and with the summer signing of Georginio Wijnaldum not working out as expected, their attention has now turned to Ndombele, which has shocked Tottenham fans, with one user on Twitter responding to the news by asking "are PSG p*****?".

Another Spurs supporter posted: "I'll drive him to Paris myself!", while one joked: "poch still saving this football club". One Tottenham fan brutally responded: "Take him."

Ndombele made a name for himself at Lyon before securing the £55million signing to Tottenham, and Pochettino feels as though he can get the best out of the star back in France.

PSG also previously tried to sign him in 2020, and with Tottenham wanting to offload the star, and Ndombele wanting Champions League football, the perfect situation has presented itself for all parties.
